Numerology 88 11:11 333
Numerology is the use of numbers and number combinations in divination. Numerology is often used as part of psychic readings. Each number corresponds to a meaning. They also correspond to the letters of the alphabet. It is through these meanings and correspondences that numerology is interpreted and used for divination. The numbers used are zero through 10. Any number larger than 10 is broken down by adding the two digits of the number together to get a single digit number. The following explains the generally accepted meanings of the numbers zero through ten: 0- everything and nothing all at once 1- singular, individual 2- balance, pair 3- communication 4- creation 5- action 6- responsibility 7- the mind, thought 8- power 9- the end 10- begin again The meanings of the numbers differ according to individual numerologist. However, in general the above meanings are a good representation of the number foundations that are most often used. Sometimes the numbers 11 and 22 are assigned special meaning as master numbers that represent the most important and meaningful numbers in numerology. The numbers as they correspond to the letters of the alphabet, 1 through 26 are used in creating numerical values for names and words. Therefore in numerology, a persons name is written out then labeled with numbers for each letter. The numbers are then added together and brought down to a digit between one and ten. For example: Sue becomes the number 18/20/5 18 becomes 9 (1+8) 20 becomes 2 (2+0) 5 stays as 5 Then these are also added: 9+2+5=16 The result being 16, which is reduced to a single digit of 7. So Sue has a numerology value of 7 This is the same basis of translated words into numerology. This basic principle is something every numerologist needs to know. Numerology charts are often done for one person or can be made to compare two people, such as in a relationship. Numerology reports can provide insight about the inner workings of a person or relationship. A numerologist has to be able to make the connection between letters and numbers, as well as be able to add and interpret the meanings behind the results of their work. Numerology reports are often long and take quite a bit of time to finish. Reports are often based upon the name and date of birth of a person. The name and date of birth are broken down into various equations that each mean something different. A numerologist should only need the basic information, name and date of birth, to complete a natal numerology chart. For more complex charts they may need additional information. Relationship charts require the names…
What is Numerology?
Each day, we are exposed to numbers. We have phone numbers, birthdates, even our financial information is driven by numbers. Numerology is the study of the numbers in our lives and how they affect us. A student of numerology uses the letters in a word, such as a full name, or a birth date and reduces that to a single number. That number tells them certain things about the person's character, what strengths and weaknesses they possess; it can even be used to predict their future. Numerology is often closely associated astrology as astrologists assigned the numbers 0 through 9 to each celestial body in the solar system and each number has its own set of values. Numerology has been around for thousands of years. The Egyptians and Babylonians both used it over 10,000 years ago. Pythagoras, a mathematician whose theories are still in use today, is believed to have official organized numerology in Greece over 2,500 years ago. He held the view that math concepts were easier to regulate and classify than physical ones. Others beliefs and writings important in the development of numerology were early Christian mysticism, the Chinese Circle of the Dead, the Kabbalah, and the Indian Vedas. At the beginning of the 20th century, L. Dow Balliet published the first book about numerology, beginning what is known as the modern phase of numerology and interest in it grew over the next few decades. Recently, a revival of interest in numerology has occurred and many people are learning how numbers might affect them. Although methods may vary, typically a numerologist reduces a word or number using a procedure called digit summing. If the numerologist is dealing with a number, such as a birth date, they add up all the numbers. If the sum is two or more digits, then those numbers are added until there is a single digit left. When dealing with a word, such as a name, each letter of the alphabet is assigned a number. For example, A =1, B = 2, C = 3. Then the same steps as above are followed - the numbers are summed until one digit remains. Some numerologists will not break numbers that total 11, 22, or 33. These are known as master numbers and are considered to have higher vibrations as than the numbers they would create if digitally summed. Below is a brief definition of each number: One - Because it is…
